ICSI Treatment in Sample City
Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is an advanced form of IVF in which a single healthy sperm is placed directly into each mature egg. At Miracle IVF Center, our doctors advises ICSI when it is the right choice for you and guides every step.
- Often advised for low sperm count, motility or shape
- Planned after tests for both partners
- Clear explanation of each step, in Hindi or English

What is ICSI?
ICSI follows the same steps as IVF, with one difference: instead of leaving eggs and sperm together in a dish, the embryologist injects a single sperm into each mature egg. The embryos that form are then grown in the lab and the best one is transferred to the uterus. It is most often advised when sperm quality is the main concern, or when fertilisation has not happened in an earlier IVF cycle.
- Low sperm count, poor motility or abnormal shape
- Previous IVF cycle with failed or low fertilisation
- Sperm collected surgically (for example TESA or PESA)
- Frozen sperm samples in limited quantity

Straight answers to what couples ask us most about ICSI.
In standard IVF, eggs and sperm are placed together in a dish and fertilisation happens on its own. In ICSI, the embryologist injects one sperm into each mature egg. The rest of the cycle is the same.
